Vernatsch is one of the indigenous varieties of South Tirol and has increased in quality, especially in recent years. Already mentioned in 1370, the variety is one of the oldest varieties in South Tirol. |
Cultivation: |
The traditional pergola is preferred to this variety. |
Vinification: |
Fermentation takes place in stainless steel vessels. The relatively great berries contribute to a rather bright and light red wine. |
