Weissburgunder

Pinot Grigio

Type of Wine:

Having been cultivated in South Tirol for over 150 years, our region is considered a well-known Pinot Blanc or Weissburgunder region and is an important white wine variety in South Tirol.

Cultivation:

This is our only vineyard at around 550m above sea level and gives the wine a special acidity and fresh minerality. The wire frame is used the training method.

Vinification: 

Fermentation takes place in stainless steel vessels. In the wine cellar, care is taken to ensure there is little contact with oxygen so as not lose the fruitiness of the wine.

Characteristics:

Colour: bright yellow-green
Smell: fruity, like Golden Delicious, pear and quince
Taste: dry, full-bodied and slightly nutty on the finish

Wine Food
Pairing:

It goes well with light starters, fish dishes and asparagus but it is also enjoyed as an aperitif.

11-13°C
